You must stop here on your visit to Sandal Castle. The cafe has delicious food, drinks, great view of the castle ruins and excellent service by the friendly, helpful staff. Easy access from the castle ruins, the road or the car park. Full of history, the walls of the cafe are lined with boards telling you everything you need to know and about the 1460 Wakefield Battle! I highly recommend you drop in when you are in Wakefield.

Popular little cafe near the castle. Really busy when I went, full of walkers, cyclists etc, nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and good coffee too

Called in a few time's whilst out for a walk. Lovely little cafe good menu selection grate service staff very friendly. Nice to sit outside on good days relaxing place.

Lovely cafe with freshly cooked food, a range of hot and cold drinks and seating inside and out in a spectacular setting overlooking the castle. A good range of gluten free hot and cold food. Friendly, efficient service.

This cafe is amazing! My gym buddies and I go there once a month for a breakfast treat. The staff are lovely and very friendly. The food is absolutely cracking and you get lots. It's always busy, which in my book is an excellent sign. Give it a try... I guarantee you will love it

We used to be regulars here for a long time but due to work commitments and few other things we have been busy. Absolutely superb Food as always, I had Bacon Egg & Tomato sandwich, Everything was excellent from the gorgeous bread Roll , superb thick amazing quality Bacon, atmosphere is always very happy and good vibe, great service from all staff as always, polite friendly. This is a gem of a place. Excellent business. If I could give more than 5* I would. Thank you guys.
